Where a test finds its laboratory

The accreditation scopes of thousands of laboratories are public — they just sit in PDFs that nobody searches. LabCoda.pl turns them into a single search engine: you type a test, a standard or a city and send a request for quotation within a minute. The portal is built by PRYM-SOFT, the maker of the CleverLAB system.

Laboratory map

All of laboratory Europe on one map

6,436 laboratories placed on the map and grouped into clusters — the larger the number on a marker, the denser the testing hub. The map can be zoomed in down to a single laboratory.

Hover

The marker shows a tooltip with the laboratory’s name, confirmation of its accreditation with the accreditation number, and the postcode and city — without leaving the map.

Click a marker

You go straight to the laboratory’s profile with its full scope of accreditation and a button for sending a request for quotation.

Search above the map

The search field works the same as in the catalogue — by test name, parameter or standard number, and the map narrows down to the results.

The problem

Ordering a test starts with the question “who actually does this?”

The same task, two routes. On the left — how it looks today. On the right — how it looks on the portal.

Without the portal

Several days just to find a provider

  • A web search engine and a dozen or so laboratory websites
  • Downloading accreditation scopes as PDFs and reading tables
  • A separate e-mail and phone call to each laboratory
  • Waiting for answers — for days
  • Comparing offers by hand in a spreadsheet
  • A laboratory with free capacity does not know that someone is looking for it
On LabCoda.pl

A few minutes — from the test name to a sent request

  • One field: test name, standard number or city
  • Accreditation scopes searchable like a catalogue
  • One request sent to many laboratories at once
  • Answers arrive in the panel, not in the mailbox
  • Offers side by side: method, standard, price, deadline
  • The laboratory receives the request directly in its panel
What already works

Eight things that LabCoda.pl does for you

Everything below is publicly available — these are functions you can click today, shown in screenshots taken directly from the portal.

Search: test, standard or city

One field and three ways of searching. You type the name of a test (“chlorides”, “water”), a standard number (“PN-EN ISO 5815”, “VDA 19”) or a city, when you want the sample not to travel across half the country. Plus filters: country, category, city — and a map view.

The search engine does not browse laboratory websites, but the items of their accreditation scopes. The counter below the filters shows an honest split: how many laboratories are already active on the platform and how many come from the imported database of scopes.

02

Imported accreditation scopes — the portal’s greatest advantage

This is something no company directory does. The accreditation scopes of laboratories from seven countries have been loaded, broken down into items and linked to standards. The laboratory profile shows the accreditation number, the document issue and date, the test fields with the original scope codes, and the full list of standards used.

For a laboratory this means a sentence that sounds surprising: your scope of accreditation is probably already in the database. All you need to do is claim the profile and add your commercial details.

03

Knowledge Base — 200 test methods

The most visited part of the portal and its magnet for laboratory staff. The methods are grouped into nine families, with a counter for each and a search by name, parameter or standard. The entries are not marketing — they are bench-level descriptions.

Method card: eight tabs instead of one paragraph

Each method has its own page built like a working instruction. The header gives the standard, the category and a summary of “what it is about” — with the measuring range, the number of procedure steps and the time needed. The rest is spread over tabs:

📋Overview 📄Standard 🔬Procedure 🔧Equipment 🧪Reagents ⚠️Safety 🎬Media 🏢Laboratories

The last tab closes the loop: from the method description you go straight to the laboratories that have it in their scope of accreditation — and send a request.

05

Requests for quotation: one request, many offers

Instead of writing the same e-mail to eight laboratories, you describe the test once and send the request to many recipients at once. The answers arrive in one panel and are shown side by side.

  • You describe the test once — a form instead of eight messages
  • Sent to many laboratories at the same time
  • Offers compared in one panel, not in a spreadsheet
  • The company account is free — on the free plan a request goes to one laboratory
06

Laboratory panel — the other side of the market

The laboratory receives a profile visible to companies looking for tests and a panel in which it receives and answers requests for quotation. The profile is free for good — only the commercial functions are paid.

  • Claim the profile — the scope of accreditation is already in the database, you just need to confirm it
  • Answer panel — incoming requests in one place
  • Profile badges — accreditation, scope, Premium highlight
  • Priority in search results on the Pro plan

The verified laboratories on the platform include a technical cleanliness testing centre (VDA 19), a laboratory in the field of water and microbiology, and a laboratory in the field of materials and petrochemistry.

07

Four languages and testing across borders

The interface works in four languages, and the database covers laboratories from seven countries. It is the answer to situations in which a Polish company needs a test in Czechia, a German one is looking for a provider in Poland, and a buyer from Asia wants to commission a test in Europe.

🇵🇱Polski 🇬🇧English 🇩🇪Deutsch 🇨🇳中文

The difficulty is that each country has its own accreditation body and its own scope format. The portal brings them to a common structure, so results from a Lithuanian and a Polish laboratory can be compared in one table.

08

“Let us find the laboratory for you”

A service for unusual cases — when a test is rare, urgent or has to be split across several laboratories. You describe what you need, and the LabCoda.pl team searches the database, contacts the laboratories and hands over ready proposals together with contacts.

The service is charged separately — always quoted before work begins.

Reach

Accredited laboratories in the database — by country

The distribution of 6,983 laboratories collected from the public accreditation scopes of seven European countries.

Context

Two tools, two different moments in a laboratory’s work

CleverLAB and LabCoda.pl are developed at PRYM-SOFT and deliberately do not do the same thing. One handles the work inside the laboratory, the other what happens before the order.

LIMS system

It runs the test from sample registration through methods, results and equipment control to the test report and the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. It works inside the laboratory and is responsible for compliance and repeatability of the work.

Portal

It handles the market around the laboratory: visibility of the scope of accreditation, the inflow of requests for quotation and finding a provider for a test that cannot be done in-house. It does not replace the LIMS — it brings it work.

Check whether someone already performs your test

Browsing laboratories, accreditation scopes and the database of 200 methods does not require an account. If you run a laboratory — check whether your scope is already in the database and claim the profile.
